- On the day of arrival, your room is ready at about 2 p.m. On the day of your departure, please leave your room before 10:00 a.m.
- At the time of booking, a deposit of 30% of the total booked amount is to be paid via bank transfer, which, in case of cancellation, will be applied to the accommodation.
- You are welcome to bring your dog with you upon request. We charge €20.00 per day for your dog’s accommodation, not including food. Please bring a dog basket or blanket from home. Dog owners are liable for any damage to the furniture. Please note that dogs are not permitted in the dining room or wellness area.
- Yes, a local tax of €3.50 per person per night has to be paid on site. Children under the age of 14 are exempt from the local tax.
- You can leave your car in our private parking lot for free.
- Yes, there is a lift at the accommodation.
- Yes, at Hotel Gerstgras, we also cook vegetarian dishes and have lactose-free and gluten-free alternatives. Please let us know in advance if you have any allergies or intolerances and we will try to respond to your individual needs.
- Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire building, including all of our rooms. You are welcome to smoke on your balcony or on the terrace.
- Room prices: Prices are per person, per night, and include breakfast or gourmet half-board options.Apartment prices: The prices are per person and day.
- Our double rooms can be booked for single occupancy at an additional cost of €30.00 to €60.00 per day.
- The following children’s rates apply when sharing with two full-paying guests:
- 0-4 years free
- 5-8 years € 15.00 per night
- 9-12 years € 30.00 per night
- 13-16 years € 60.00 per night
- There is no right of withdrawal under consumer protection law; however, we grant you the following cancellation conditions: For cancellations up to 30 days before arrival, no additional cancellation fees apply. For cancellations within 15 to 30 days before arrival, a fee of 40% of the total booked amount will be charged. For cancellations within 8 to 14 days before arrival, a fee of 60% of the total booked amount will be charged. For cancellations within 7 days before arrival, a fee of 70% of the total booked amount will be charged. For early departure, late arrival, or no-show, cancellation fees of 70% will be charged for the booked but not used days.

Location and Arrival
Hotel Gerstgras is located in Val Senales at an elevation of 1,800 metres, surrounded by the Ötztal Alps, just 3 km from Maso Corto and 30 km from Merano.
The hotel can be reached via the Venosta Valley: From Merano, continue through Naturno into Val Senales, then follow the valley road toward Maso Corto. After passing Certosa, Madonna and Vernago, the road continues uphill to Hotel Gerstgras. If you’re arriving by public transportation, take the train or bus to Naturno, then continue by regional bus toward Maso Corto. The nearest airport is in Bolzano.
